Exclamation Have an old roller collecting dust? (North East)

As I posted in Videogamerdaryll's post, I need a roller

Something with a solid frame, I need it beefy because if you know who I am I make Electric pocket bikes, well I did some time ago... Life struggles, divorce and other shit happened and my last project got ignored and I finally just junked it when I moved back to my home town.. I now am building my company and my life is in a better place... So now its time to make the bike that hands down blows the hats off every on Cagworld.. Not holding back this time and not making a deadline to complete! the bike will do 100mph and for a mini thats me bullshitting or I am about the lift the damn sport out of the dark ages and help promote the euro bikes again!

some may say what I want to do is stupid and far off, but does it really matter?

in the near future I will repost a new EVpocketbike thread, I hope every one enjoys it this time...(for better or worse)

MikeM..

PS. what the hell happened here? no one is ever on!

can some one please help me out? Marcelo still has not been on the net, so I cant talk to him about the help I need. hell even if it is a 911 replica frame, it would be the same.. I just need that solid chunk of aluminium to hold this bike together.. it getting a 15kwatt motor installed and should be more HP then a 100cc gas engine! so 100mph is still the goal and I cant do this with some shitty ***** bike... it would snap!

if you know any thing about 1/3 and 1/4 scale RC planes... notice the multi bolt prop mount! this thing has balls!

Any specific roller that you require?

You might be able to buy a whole bike for what a roller might run you..also a whole bike may be easier to obtain..

I have several Euro bikes that I'd not sell just the roller for less then the whole bike..It's just to much work to bother plus the rollers are expensive.
With an atleast $500.00 price tag on the whole bikes..my 910 i'd not let go for less then $400.00

Could you start off with a Cag Chassis?..heck you first have to do a mock up right?and maybe make a few bikes..

I bought a whole Cag at a Flea Market for $25.00..(one of my current project bikes)

What are you looking to spend on a roller+ shipping?
the mention of $$ might get the ball rolling..

I need offers if any one has a bike they want sell for a good cause. No it cant be a cag, Marcel would never let me live that down LOL. This is to pay my respects to this sport as I depart by doing something amazing. I know I could make a pod for most Polinis for a battery/motor/controller area one piece modular set up. No modification to the bike at all. Reason I would like a Polini 910/911 aluminium style. out of all the bikes I have ever seen, the 910/910 are thee most solid. If I am putting my life on the line, thats the bike I would ride. as for my budget,? if the price is right is about it. I am starting up a company right now so this 100mph pocket bike is on the side of that. It is possible, todays tech and how much lighter and more powerful DC motors have become, why not see if my past dream of 60mph can be slammed so hard I may get double that!

Mike...
Well..Ya know Iíve known you for a long time Mike and have always enjoyed seeing what you do with the electrics..
I believe the electrics are the future as you see the cars now and I keep reading about this electric dirtbike(Mini Rider Magazine) that was made..
..But I will be honest with you my friend. There isnít a person here that has a bike they want sell for a Ďgood causeí...and to be honest usually a good cause means getting something for a dirt cheap price..

....People just donít give a shit today...Tough times, struggling to survive..You could put a rocket on a pocketbike today and nobody would care..
Get a few views on youtube then it's dead..

Put a naked chick on it,sure but they'll be looking at the Chic..

.....besides a few people that still race and hold on to the sport with a death grip like myself..... itís Dead..

Iím racing my pocketbikes this year...Iím currently looking online for the chain in bulk...I have a daughter coming in March so Iíll be late to the race but Iím like 1 of three of any that ďmayĒ come to the track on a pocketbike..
I'll never be looking to buy anything of the such in pocketbikes,It's just never going to come out of the grave.

I also race my NSR50 and my Son has a Honda XR50 now..
Getting anything for that bike in parts, info and gear for my cause to get my Son started is a joke, people could care less...thatís my problem..

I donít think anything except some super TV exposure could lift the pocketbike sport out of the grave..
Ok,to fulfill a dream of 100mph that's fine..Go for it,I wish you the best and good luck..

With a Polini 910,if I found you a Used Solid running 4.2 bike for $400.00-$500.00 would you buy it?..
I canít tell someone that I have someone looking to buy a bike for a good cause, they donít care about that..Money Is Money,Money Talks..I gotta push the $$$..
What number would you feel you want to throw out for a bike to get the project going(minus shipping) $350.00?

if it is in NJ I will have no problem driving 8 hours to pick it up.. $400 would be nice but $500 would be what I would expect to have to pay

Ok,,I will keep my eye out, maybe I will find something located closer to you..but I don't know where yu are currently located..

Honestly I'd sell you my Polini 910 Carena(Polini 4.2)for $400.00.. that sits on display on a shelf..but the 8 hour drive will cost ....man I think you'd be able to find something close to you for the same price so I'll keep my eye out....

Would you be able to bid-bin on an ebay auction if I found a bike near you?
