Whats the difference between H4 and H7

I was going to buy some new headlight bulbs for my 97 gix750 and was wondering what the difference was between the H4 and H7 bulbs??

connector

It;'s how the bulb connects to your plug. H4 is different from H3 and H7. We found that out when My buddy bought H4's for his F4i and it didn't fit. Check your manual or ask another gsxr owner, which bulb to save you the hassle.

I believe the difference is the plug type. Check the specs for your bike and you should be able to tell whether you have H4 or H7 bulbs.

Thanks for the help guys. I would have checked my manual but it's 100 miles away right now. So if anyone has a 96-99 GSXR and changed bulbs, I'd still like to know.
