Something about the "Male Fuel Connectors" affecting VIN range 046269 - 186130
" This vehicle has a male fuel connector linking each of the feed and return fuel hoses to the fuel pump mounting plate, fixed to the underside or right side of the fuel tank, that may contain a fracture following any mis-handling. If the male fuel connector fractures, fuel may escape from the connector onto the engine or side of the motorcycle resulting in a potential fire or loss of control of the motorcycle."
