Wow cool. Looks like Honda is going up against the Yammi FXR150s!

What do you reckon - single cylinder? Looked to redline about 11,000 revs from those pics ... Twin maybe?

I find that 38hp to be very very optimistic though.

Also it's a nice touch not having external indicators - nothing to break there if you tip it. Those mirrors though ... ugh!

but i am 6'6" and 330lbs so it maybe too small for me. :flipoff

so they import it, can't title it, and try to pawn it off on someone else?:confused
I would not buy a bike that has no title, and is not certified for US road use.

BTW, the front end looks like a ZX12.

ULTIMATE pit bike!!!!

I'd love to have it to run errands on... and practice tricks on, and teach my girl on... damn, I would really like that little thing.

for a difference of 1050 CCs, I'd say they do look pretty close...

Yeah I see the resemblance. That thing is pretty cool looking. Get a load of that tiny ass tire in the back.

It's got more hp than a Buell Blast and almost as much as a Sportster :lmao

It'd be a neat novelty bike or could be fun to run around town on but it'd be loads of fun with some 125cc slicks on a really tight road :thumb Everybody gets too carried away with it not being *legal* - pffft , if you know the right people you can get anything registered , regardless of where it came from or what it is .

Registered? There must be 8 RS250s here. I once asked "how'd you make that thing street legal?" to which the reply was "legal? I just slapped an old plate on the back".

Plus, it's 4 STROKE. The reason most smaller bikes are not registered is because they are 2 STROKE. The only thing against this bike is that it has no title. It would be easy to register.

I really, really dig it btw.

Chances are when he went to register the bike, it got flagged at the DMV for not having enough serial numbers. Jap production bikes only have 11, german bikes have 17 like ours.

That's a slick looking little bike. That's the kind of bikes we need released over here for the entry level rider.....

I agree with you, but would people pay $4K (or so) for a 150cc bike? :confused

ifi had money to throw around i would LOVE to have that bike. I think it looks pretty trick, and it'd be a blast to tool around town on. Are those only for sale overseas? I guess so since I've never heard of them... I remember meeting a guy who rode a CB-1 or something, it was basically a 400cc naked CBR - another bike i'd LOVE to have...

I think there would be enough sales for it. Husbands buying their wives bikes.. fathers buying their children bikes.. I'm sure they would sell just as many as Kawi does 250's... And they're already being produced.. So, why not just import?

That bike is freaking cool, and to anwser the would people pay 4k for a 150cc bike, well, if we had a tiered liscensing system (which I'm all for) you bet they would, but once again, America just doesn't get it.

Meet the CBR250R:

Redline @ 18 thou, limiter @ 19. The RR rev'd a grand higher still! 4 Cylinder, 250! I made it a person mission to get her to the redline every time I rode her! :laughing:laughing

the problem with that is that the Nija 250 is still only 3000US(not 4000).;)

You'd be surprised at how many people would pay more for a better looking bike. And just because the Msrp is 4k.. Doesn't mean that's what everybody will pay..

I really do think it would sell over here..

I can'tbelieve the sell as many ninja 250s as they do and that bike looks like it hasn't been changed at all since 1988. You can bet a lot of learners, especially women, would lay down $4k for this bike... i want one for parking lots hooliganism myself...

It looks that way because they haven't. With the exception of a few differing part numbers on minor parts (mostly controls), everything is still exactly the same.

I'd pay an extra grand for that bike. The ex250 and ex500 are so ugly. They just look like they are trying to be sportbikes, but are not.
That's why i got my gs500, it's not tryin to look like a sportbike, :laughing

You do know what sportbikes looked like in 1988 right? Exactly like the ex250 and ex500.

Right, so why don't we get the ZZR 250 update ? It looks much better even though it's all bodywork AFAIK

No, all sportbikes did not look like that in '88. And for a second let's pretend they did, that doesn't change the fact that I find the ex250 and 500 ugly as hell today.
