Well, I just got my new Sportec's on my zx-6r. I have one thing to say....IN-FUCKIN-CREDIBLE!!! I've only had Dunlop 207's on, and what a difference. I only have 50 miles on them, but I can tell already they feel much stickier. I can't wait to hit the twisties this weekend with them and really test them out!!!

I paid $112 for the rear, and 95$ for the front. Got a good price on them:D

Also, set my suspension up properly today...wow, that made a huge differrence, much firmer of a ride! I'll give a more detailed report after some twisties!

Same deal man....

I went from the D207's to the M1's and they are GREAT. Ive only got 200 miles on mine, but so far they are flawless. They heat up quick and stick like glue. I have about a 1/4 inch chicken strip I just cant get rid of though. Mother F-er!!

Stick like flies on shit for wheelies to.......

runnin m-1's now.

They are the best street tires out there.
However, I found them a little lacking on the track, they would slide more than I was comfortable with.

I think I am going to go with rennsports next time as far as a track tire.

Have you tried them under the rain yet? Anybody has?

Road 'em in the rain & wet last Sunday. Like any non-rain tire they're still a bit slippery, but no worse than any other tire I've ever used in the rain.

We video taped that day, so if I can ever get Premiere running to edit the damn thing I'll post up a link in the movies forum. Keep an eye there...

*edit*

Can't do direct video captures, but I did take a still of my monitor that you can see here.

The M1's are an EXCELLENT rubber! One of the BEST street tire rollin' around. BUT FOR THE TRACK.............GO WITH THE RENNSPORT RS1 / RS2! :ar15

I use the RS2 on my relic of a drag bike. SEE..........

I ran the m1"s on the track for about 20 lap's and thought I was going to die. It may be a good street tire, but on the track THEY SUCK! Ane don't give me this "I didn't have any problem on the track, because YOU'RE SLOW!

I just put on a set of M1's before my last track day at Philip Island last month, it was 3x 20 min sessions in the wet.. previous to this i have had pilot sports and before that 207 on the track.. instant confidence in the wet, each lap i pushed a bit more then what i would of done on pilot sports, was very happy with the results, after lunch the sun was out, i got in around 6 laps before the bike had carb issues and had to call it a day..in the dry, they squirmed around alot less then the pilot sports and did not ball/shred up as much either..

these tyres use the same rubber as the Pirelli (made from same factory) evo corsas (with what i use on the TLR) My overall favourite tyre so far is the Pirelli supercorsa street compound (great on the track and hitting the local twisties)
