Read a while back that they had some issues with the adhesive letting go, but that it's corrected & they work great - I may try one out this winter.

Been using them for years. I never ride anywhere without one. I'm on my fourth one now (no prob. with the Fog City, just scratched shields) and I swear by them. My biggest problem in cold weather is sunglasses fogging, maybe I could make some mini Fog Cities for those. Hmmm...:p

Ken's Cycle here in Johnson City keeps them in stock but all of the big online places carry them (Dennis Kirk, Chaparall sp? etc..)

I'm sure your local bike shop can order one for you. If you have an Arai they make a specific sheild with the brow vent cutouts. They are really nice, I am so use to it I don't even think about fogging anymore.

There is anti fog stuff I bought for like $4 and I put it on bathroom windows, my car windshield and sun glasses and they never fog up any more.....works great, so if you don't want to get a new visor that is another option

Peace Out

has anybody tried the fog city insert that changes tint according to the sunlight? Just wondered if it really works, as it would be nice to use if you will be out during the day AND night time :)

I've seen one that's made by another company, can't think of the name though. I thought about it, but I wouldn't feel comfortable not being in total controll of how well I can see. What if it doesn't lighten up untill it's too dark or does funky things when riding in and out of shadows. I guess I just like the total controll of being able to change sunglasses or shields.:cool

This is a little off topic, but I just got a new pair of Bolle sunglasses with the interchangeable lenses. These things are great. The first time you ride on a cloudy or rainy day with yellow lenses, you will always have them with you from then on. You have polarized lenses for bright glare( like riding west in the afternoon), regular lenses for for normal sunhine, and yellow lenses for low light conditions. I rode in the rain with these two weeks ago. They were the perfect compliment to the Fog City shield and I didn't have a problem with the glasses fogging either.
