First thing I'd do is line up an open line of credit... probably up to $50k. :eek

Close at 50,000 Euro it would currently go for $60,155.22 here in the states. It's amazing how far $60K goes today :rolleyes :laughing
From the release today:
The street-legal Ducati Desmosedici will be available within two years. The announcement on the stage at WDW2004 by Ducati President and CEO Federico Minoli has officaially set the GP motorcycle on the production track. This is a limited edition motorcycle, as one would iagine for a product conceived as the first true MotoGP replica.
...The replica bike's final shape has not yet been decided, but one can assume it will follow the lines, and technical and aerodynamic solutions of the racing version.

At current exchange rate, 50,000.00 EUR = 60,155.22 USD
Somehow, I don't think I could even afford a valve adjustment let alone the insurance on one of these.

Well, they announced the Sport Classics close to two years in advance and that didn't stop you from going all Dunstall farings wet dream on them. I think they're smart to create excitement around the new bikes as they're being built, why not?
You're just pissed your mommy won't let you sell that top heavy slab to buy one in two years...:redflip
Me, I'm just pissed I can't afford one! :D

At least the SportClassics were shown, this is nothing more than vaporware.
