I guess he just looked suspicious
hanging out near the capital with two large suitcases? I don't know. Maybe those fine officers had too many cups of coffee or something

They should concentrate more on moving the bums and homeless and poor people sleeping around there then a guy with two briefcases....at least he's probably actually going to work.

A man standing in all black with two suitcases at the capitol building. Yea that would be pretty damn suspicious to me as well. I'm sure if didn't have anything they will apologize but I would rather them be too cautious than not enough.

"What they did to get ready to take that man down was extraordinary," Reid said. "We have the finest- trained police force of any place in the country."
woot good job
[/sarcasm]
tackling some guy not aware of the cops presence. any high school football player can do that.
I want to know what was in those suitcases. if its nothing, i doubt we will hear much about it.

yes I did read the fucking article...
here look at these pictures
guy is definitly looking right at them the damn caption even says so.... I dont know where exactly that picture is but it doesnt look like a whole lot of people are suppose to be that close...
you dont think its a bit odd that the guy has 2 big suitcases with him and is just standing there?...
also im sure they didnt say anything at all to the guy before tackling him for no reason

yeah i guess everytime someone dressed in black (no one EVER wears black unless they are bad people) and has suitcases (OMG terrorist, not a traveller!) should be jumped by cops. they said in the article is a busy tourist season...tourists....suitcases? nyah.
those pics dont mean anything. the guy could have just turned, and the cops might be just waiting to jump him. what as he supposed to do...run? standing there not doing anything threating seems like a good idea, assuming he knew they were there.
i just dont see why they have to stroke the cops cocks because they did their job.

That's insane.
Last year, I went travelling for a week. Had 2 suitcases (mixed personal stuff and presents for the people I was visiting). And waited for my buddies to pick me up in a public place.
Odds are this is exactly what this guy was doing, and I can't believe how fokkin dumb you have to be to applaud the cops.
This is ridiculous. And I hope the guy presses charges.

uh huh.
Because standing, facing a building, for a long period of time, hands behind your back, like THIS:
Wouldn't be suspicious.
It isn't like he didn't see them:
And, with their gear... it isn't like you can't hear them running.

are you guys serious?
everyone bitches about how we need to tighten security down...and then when they suspect someone of it you want them to sue?
obviously he was where he wasn't suppose to be...how many damn times do i have to repeat myself?
its not like hes on the side of the street standing there...
when i was in DC last year they (the Secret Service) would yell at us to stop and take a picture of the white house....this is way far away by the front gate and near the mall where the President lands... hell year before that i stayed right across from the white house in a hotel and a man who parked his car there and got out and stood next to it as soon as he did the Secret Service busted out behind tree's guns drawn and told him to move his car....same deal in my book and i see nothing wrong with it UNLESS the guy was innocent...but we wont know that until we find out what was in the suitcases...
all you guys bitching about how unfair it was....what happens when theres C4 or anthrax in the suitcases?
k I'm done
Chad
