Hello, I'm Luis and I'm 43.
I work in the IT field as a project manager, prior to that I was in the Rangers which i joined in 79.
I have been a catholic all my life, but of recent I think I'm having a crisis of faith. I have always seen myself as being more of a christian then an actual card carrying Roman Catholic. I have always followed the scriptures and have tried to learn from them. Recently my faith as I mentioned before is being tested. A close friend has stabbed me in the back and dishonored my family, I tried turning the other cheeck but all that did was get me slapped again. Any words of wisdom would be great right about now, any room for a lost soul?
Thanks

Welcome Luis!
There's always room here for a lost soul. Hopefully we can help you out in some way here in CMR. Do you attend a church currently? Just curious. Our Faith as Christians will always be tested. But we must stand strong during these trials and tests.
1Peter 4:12-13,16(KJV)
"Beloved, think it not strange concerning the fiery trial which is to try you, as though some strange thing has happened unto you:
But rejoice, inasmuch as ye are partakers of Christ's sufferings; that, when his glory shall be revealed, ye may be glad also with exceeding joy.
Yet if any man suffer as a Christian, let him not be ashamed; but let him glorify God on this behalf."
God asks us to forgive those who trespass against us.
"For if ye forgive men their trespasses, your heavenly Father will also forgive you:" Matthew 7:14 KJV
" But if ye forgive not men their trespasses, neither will your Father forgive your trespasses." Matt. 7:15 KJV
Pray for guidance and strength in this time of need. God is only a prayer away. 1John 5:14 (KJV) "And this is the confidence that we have in him, that, if we ask any thing according to his will, he heareth us:"
Rest assured that we will pray for you. Hope this has helped you out in some way. Feel free to PM any of us anytime. Grace and Peace to you and yours.

Hi Luis!
I get slapped around with problems and trials all the time. I also get persecuted for my faith continuously. I might turn the other cheek until I'm sick of it, but the victory is always His. People notice how you handle a situation, even if they are the onces bashing you at the time. Stand in your faith and let the Lord do the talking for you. Dont give up like Satan wants you too; give each moment back to God; He can handle it; in fact, he WANTS to.

Guys,
Thank you for the kind words. You are RIGHT! I'm going to keep my chin up and I'm going to keep praying because I know the Lord will hear me. I spent the weekend reading the scriptures and I feel much stronger every day that goes by, I will wear my faith like a bullit proof vest.
Thank you again!

My name's Mike. I've been here off and on for a while.
I live and work in Salem/Keizer Oregon; married 18 (almost 19) years; two daughters (11 and 8 years old); play guitar in my chruch praise band; lead children's youth group with my wife; and started riding again in 2002 (after a 15 year hiatus).
This is my current bike. I seem to get a new one every year.

Hey guys, Brian here. Been reading on the board for a while and just recently started posting. Got directed this way by Moonpie. Great guy and good friend. Got saved at 12 but seemed to struggle with it through my young life. Unfortunately a while ago God had to use his 2x4 and get my attention. He got it...and how. I wasn't giving him 100% and he'll take no less. When I finally said OK my life is 100% Yours, put me where you want me, there was peace. Ironically I got my bike shortly before God wacked me, but now it has lead into the CSBA and opened other doors. Of course He knew what was happening! I enjoy the spirited commentary but most importantly pray for each other and live your life as a witness to Him. Especially if you have kids (and I do) it means more than words. In His Name.

Hello Board, my name is Jeff, and I'm a Christian...
Looked at this board the other day as it was linked to the ZR-7 board. Much to my surpirse and delight it had a arena for Christian riders. Hello Bro's and sista's!!
I am 48 years old, been saved for 34 years. The last have been very bittersweet. Basically a quick chronology:
1999 divorce
1999 Honda Shadow VT1100
2001 met future wife
2001 Harley Eltra Glide
2002 sold Harley (building a house)
2003 moved into house
2004 realized (DUH) I have the house but no bike
SOOOOOOO long story shory I laid away a new 2003 Kawasaki ZR-7S for next spring
God has been so sweet to me. He guided me to the LOVE of my life, and nice area to live in and a GREAT church!!!!
Living is the country on the end of Ohio's Triple Nickel !!!!!
Look forward to getting to know you folks
Jeff

Welcome to the board, my guess is it will seem like a long winter waiting for the bike, Congrats on the ZR7,
My brother Dave rides down in your area and has a church in Columbus I am sure he could use another riding partner, I am assuming of coarse that you are in the Hocking hills area south of there I did not see your town on the map

i have gone to church all my life most of my family are Christians. i can excactly remember when i became a Christian so i rededicated my life as a teen but as many not always lived right. i hope to use some of my experiences for the positive ( youth group maybe?)
when i met my wife we both new it was going to be long lasting so i week in my faith asked her to go to church with me. it turn out she was raised in the church also but had not gone in years but wanted to. made that easy huh!!!
our church is great this friday we will be going on our third bike ride normally about 7-10 bike go.anyone in the area more than welcome.
we helped biuld a different church afew years ago but it got over welming all the duties of a small church and we both could not enjoy it so once it grew and people wanted to help take over we went back to the church where we had attened before it to as grown to 400 people easy im still trying to find my place.
i found this site in a search and and glad to find it just wat i was looking for

My name's Josh, and I am from Florida.
God's really been doing some wonderful things in my life lately, and it seems that nearly every day of every week the phrase, "He works in mysterious ways!" comes blasting out of my mouth!
I've been riding bikes for nearly 10 years now and am 26 years of age. I own my own home just outside Orlando, in Volusia County. In the garage are the following: CR250, Bandit 1200, and a 100cc mini (Chinese knockoff).
Hey, I don't know if any of you are from Florida, but I'll see you around one of these days

WELCOME aboart Scott and Josh.
We have our own little spot on the web (well, not so little as we share it with 20,000 other people!) and we have a good time in here sharing our faith, fun, and things of that nature.
Scott...the CSBA is short for the Christian Sportbike Association. Check out all the cool details at www.christiansportbike.com
...AS a matter of fact, I am the Indiana Chapter leader. I'd be happy to give you a call and answer any questions you may have. If you want, PM me your phone number and we'll take it from there.
I am located on severe SW Indiana. But I'd be happy to meet up with you in Indy or Bloomington for Lunch sometime. I ain't scared of logging a few miles! hahah
Nice to have you guys here. Make yourselves at home!
