Firebolt Dyno Chart
So who has a dyno graph for the 9R and/or 12R?

I don't but here is a Dino chart.
Honestly, the 9r is a lot of fun even if down a few in HP from the competition.

BikerGeek, I actually live in Hendersonville, too. Did you purchase your Buell locally? Perhaps the HD/Buell dealer in Rivergate? The Firebolt/Lightning is intriguing to me because: 1) self-tensioning belt drive; 2) self-adjusting lifters/valves; 3) philosophy that simpler is better. Maintenance ought to be much less because of #1 and #2, plus air-cooled engine (no coolant to worry about). I commute to Cool Springs everyday. How is the comfort level of the Firebolt? I sat on a Lightning and it felt very comfortable. Speed is not my thing, so the broad torque curve I keep hearing about is attractive ("real world power" so-to-speak). When I can, I enjoy weekend jaunts through the curves (OK, not just on weekends, but lunchtime, before work, after work... ).

Yes, I got it from Mark at Rivergate Boswells. I have never passed another one on the road; there are only 6 that I know of in the Nashville area. That is a big plus for me.
I actually rode it to work today and commute with it when the weather is good. It is comfortable for me; 5'11" and pretty bulked. I have done 350mile days on it w/o any problems. The lightning would be more comfortable but to me, the 9s Lighning seemed tiny compared to my Firebolt. I have had mine for a yr now and just went over 7000 miles with only good preventative maintenance. It's headed to Cookville/Center Hill tomorrow.
If you live at 110mph and below, it is a hell of a bike.

Since it is air/oil-cooled, how is the heat when stuck in traffic?
What route(s) do you take to Center Hill Lake/Dam?

We took 141 from Tuckers Crossroads/Linwood to the dam, 96n to 70N and went up 53 to Gainsboro, down 56 and out to Cookville and back on 70n. Really nice roads.
add 200 more miles to the odometer.
The engine heat gets warm in traffic, esp with the fan under the seat blowing hot air onto your legs. The air cooled engine can take it really well though. The secret is to keep moving

No Joke.. My Speed Triple was the most hot blooded bike I have ever seen. It had to keep moving our it would overheat in mild traffic.

Yeah thats a common trait of the pre 02 Triumph engines. I have torn out all the foam rubber insulation, put in Engine Ice coolant and watter wetter. Its alot better now but will still creep up the heat guage when the going gets slow.
