little joys...
Went to Super Wal-Mart and they had the ultimate cereal. Boo Berry, Franken Berry, and Count Chocula. Obviously, I bought the Boo and Franken Berry. Don't you just love it when something so little makes you smile?

Boo Berry is like finding a four leaf clover!
Seldom do the stores carry it anymore.
I found some earlier this summer and bought 4 boxes of it!
Good stuff right there..

I can always count on finding Boo-berry shortly before and during Halloween. The rest of the year........no luck. It's sad that a 30 year old man looks forward to finding Boo-berry though...but I can't help it.

You don't want to know. Just believe me when I say there is lots and lots of blue food coloring and don't ask me how I know.

Nothing but a little love baked inside each little piece. MMMMMmmmmm, that's good. There's also a little sugar, a pinch of something really bad for you, and a gallon of food coloring. On the flip side, though, they're made my monsters so they can't be all that bad for you, right???

My little joy.... I got my first Samhain invitation the other day. I smiled for a good couple of hours over that one. It's been such a crappy few weeks for me that it put things back into perspective a little.
PS - I wouldn't know anything about cereal... I rarely eat it and I wasn't allowed to eat the sugary marshmallow stuff as a kid...

OK I've just GOT too ask...
Has anyone else noticed that the "TEXTURE" of the Franken Boo Berry cereals has changed over the years.
When I was say around 14 or so, the cereal was more of a oat texture similar to Cheerios.
Now they are a harder, crunchier texture....more like plastic..
Maybe it's just me. But I liked it the way it used to be.
Just doesn't taste the same anymore.
