I think there was talk about securing the other Repsol grid spot. Not sure how they shuffled the spots, but Biaggi is the odd man out until the deal is finalized. He'll be on there....
Biaggi's contract is done with Repsol, according to all the rumor. But, I think Camel and/or Pons is holding him until Dec 31st. Per their contract with him. Expect an announcement Jan 1, 2005. Sometime in the morning :laughing

is the odd man out, actually. He is the long rider for the 'team' named. Which is one more than MotoGP franchise allows, but hey, he's Honda's boy, so it's OK.

aprilia is out, so technically there are two grid spots now open. But honda must protest to the motogp gods to get the 7th, which they will. But there will still be one more spot open... that is my interpretation
