i just got a cbr 1000rr does anyone know where to hook the helmet at on the back seat

Look in the toolkit. There should be a rubber hose covered steel cable with loops at each end. You thread that cable through anything solid on your lid (D-rings) and attach both looped ends to a hook-like thing-a-ma-bob inside the rear cowl. Not sure about 1KRR, but it's on the left side of the cowl lock on the 600RRs.

i always carry my lid with me (even to class)... one of my friends got his shoei rf900 vandalized (seemed to be punctured with a hard tool) in the parking lot

theres this stupid loopover cable that is in the toolkit, just remember these things arent made to be practical, enjoy the bike dude, i know i am

beat me to it man, the 1000RR has one on both sides FYI.
