Pair valve?

Neither, it's an Emissions valve. Pulse air injection, into the exhaust manifold to burn off unspent fuel. It's where the popping on deceleration comes from on a 929/954. If you ever plan to Dyno tune the bike you need to either block it off by pinching the lines to the motor, or remove it all together. If not, the air injection will throw the A/F readings off. No real power gains from removing it, or weight loss.Ian said:

That was a good writeup.
