how is the AMA doing the new racing classes again? and what exactly are the rules for each class. they kept the categories the same, just requirements are different I think right?

supersport, superstock, formula extreme, and superbike? there's definitely changes to formula extreme (no more liter bikes:(

if there's a good link, please just let me know.

go to AMA racing's homesite for one.

Superstock is like it was last year, but people can race up to a liter.

Supersport is unchanged I think from last year.

Superbike is fundamentally no different I think from last year, except they might be putting bigger restrictors in the inline liter bikes.

Formula Extreme I think is run what you brung up to 600cc inlines, or 750cc Vtwins?

supersport - pretty much the same as last year - 600cc I4's w/limited modifications

superstock - 750 or 1000cc's, limited mods

FXtreme - 600cc (I4) and 750 (twins) superbikes and up to 1300cc (i think) pro-thunder air-cooled twins

Superbike - Similar to last year, though i think a big thing is stock air boxes and throttle bodies on 1000cc 4's

superbike will still be the premiere class. f/x should be interesting, if only to see what that factorys can do to a 600.

supersport - some mods, 600 class
superstock - some mods, 1000 class
