I've been looking and these things and they are pretty sweet! Now that the 42" screens are dropping below 4 grand, they are getting 'closer' to my price range. (so when they are like a 100 bucks I can actually afford one! :laughing I didnt say how close, just closer... LOL)

Does anyone here have a plasma screen?

super sweet...like you though cant justify that expense till the signals comming in are up to the task..very little is high deff. at this time.

One of my neighbors ( you've got to understand that this is a strange place , $800,000 houses next door to $200,000 houses { that'd be $60,000 houses anywhere else } is common , I live in the middle of the equation :laughing ) is the CFO for Phillips USA . Needless to say , he has all the pimp electronics gear like friggin 61" Plasma TV's ... Fookin unreal .Flatscreen TV's mounted in the ceiling above beds and stuff - heh _I_ have the same 19" TV/VCR combo I've had since college , don't own a DVD player and the only CD player in my house is the 'pooter !

I wish I did. Oh man those are awesome! I'd love to have a Pioneer 50" or Fujitsu 61"... that would rock!

Same here...love them, but can't justify the $$$ to the little lady...

Hell I'll be happy with a 40 in Sony Trinitron ultra-flat...I'm still using a 19'' Zenith that's not cable ready (Think I got you there Joel )

Although I now have 4 DVD-capable players.
