i almost think it would be mean to get parents a rocking chair.. mine would take it as an insult atleast.. i would love to see the looks on their faces though.. :laughing

my dad had this one for the longest time,
and we beat the hell out of it as kids...
(it was cloth, so there were holes and
the springs were all funky and blah blah blah)

so the new leather one was a VERY welcomed addition.

oh wait.. it wasn't a "rocking chair" heh heh..
more like a RECLINER.. my bad. the COMFY kind!

big plush brown leather recliner (lazyboy type) :thumb

i don't think they'd want a rocking chair. :laughing

It was super easy this year for me everyone got shoes and maybe one or two more gifts. Every year I pick one typ of gift for th whole family and thats what they end up getting.

Oline Xmas shopping makes everything so easy no crowds to deal with and the best part is shipping is always free and or you can set it up most times to just pick them up @ a local store. It works great if you are traveling somewhere for the Holidays and you dont have to lug all the gifts with you.

Mom: Some books she said she wanted
Dad: Photobook of golf courses (he likes em)

Mom and Dad: Picture of them with my daughter that they had never seen before

Kiele had the better idea this year. A picture frame that she painted, with a picture of her in the frame of her painting the frame......she's a spooky 6 year old sometimes.

My family does a Secret Santa thing, so this year I got my mom.

A real popular thing this year is making blankets, with an easy no-sewing method. You get two lengths of fleece (from a fabric store), one with a print (lots of good prints to choose from), and the other side an accenting solid color, and you can tie it together to make a pretty cushy throw blanket. My mom is always cold so it's perfect gift for her, considering she's so hard to shop for. And, it's something I took the time to put together.

Costs around $30-40, and I'm making a bunch of them for friends and such.

Girlfriend is getting one of the blankets and a Gucci wallet.

She's getting me a set of Diablos or BT-014's for the R1.

Parents: Gift card to Nordstrom (mom), Gift card to Home Depot (dad). For the two of them, I got them a set of talkabouts. They go on a lot of cruises and I thought this would be a good thing for them to have when they are in different ports so they could do their own thing and still be in contact with each other.

Sister: I dunno yet (she never gets her gift on time)

Nieces: I dunno yet (they never get their gifts on time)

Janet: iPod accessories (car kit, charger, extra shit), Harry Potter DVD, skirt from Banana Republic, bras from VS, and some other shit

Random friends: DVDs and gift cards

That sounds suspicious Neil...

Oh, and I've gotten my dad the Spiderman 2 DVD and my mom a good sized Flash Memory card for the digital camera I bought her earlier this year.
