Cycleforums.com is a great site based on what I've seen during my brief visit here today. So far it has impressed me much more than the other sportbike sites currently available on the web.

If you really need an answer to your question. Yes, SBN will remain exactly the same as long as Fred is in the picture. Need proof? Any reference being made to this site on SBN is being censored. That type of censorship and control does not interest me and I will not be a part of it. There are just too many other BETTER alternatives.

These boards are what the members make them. So either get to makin' or get lost. You're posts about SBN have been all over the friggin' web and I'm tired of hearing you whine about it.

not to disagree but if you goto the front page that message is no longer there and people are posting...

But to answer the topic. I just don't think it will be the same. As much as i'll miss it, alot of the people and friends have migrated here and that is a positive that came out of SBN shutting down. This place will be just as much as SBN was & alot more!

Well to be honest batch, it IS quite like a train-wreck......meaning it disgusts you, but yet you can't look away.

It's not a simple "oh well" and it seems lame cause it's JUST THE INTERNET right?

Kinda like when 2 people meet on the internet and they explain to people where they met....they get this "dang......you'z a FREAK" look or something :confused But you know.....it WAS a BIG PART of alot of peoples lives. And the internet is becoming more and more REAL...take the gatherings and local rides for instance.....or TRUE FRIENDSHIPS and or relationships (racer X and Z)

Some people might say "get a freakin life" but to some people that WAS a very dynamic part of their lives....and it was chopped off abruptly

Now people are left rather confused and upset and I can see why, but at the same time I have other important things to deal with (wife, family, work)

I hate it happened but it was good for everyone. Soon you'll see this and we can let this beaten horse rest in peace

i agree. i won't be back. a couple months back i sent fred a fairly substantial donation for sb.n. if you're going to shut a site down, it should be fairly well known in advance. i can only imagine how people feel who donated money a couple weeks ago. that's money i could have spent on stuff at tt.com AND gotten something out of the deal. that sucks.
