Hey everyone quick question about my bike. When I'm coming to a stop and I'm downshifting like I was taught so your in first at the light the bike seems to be a little notchy the shift lever gets a little snapy with the clutch in, I was just wondering if this is normal for Ninjas. I'm trying to learn to be as smooth as I can riding I use to be ham fisted just looking to inprove my skills. Thanks all.

You will appreciate the valuable lessons of shifting once you work your way up to your next bike. The shifting on the 250 has got to be the WORST on any bike I've ever ridden. It's really the only think I don't like about the bike.

so, ya, it's common :p

Yeah, I never really noticed it too much, but now that you mention it, it is kinda snappy. So, yes, i guess it is normal :p

when i had my 250 last summer i never had any problems with shifting? One thing you get good at when you own a 250 is shifting cause you have to do it a lot...
