You might have an exhaust leak. I "damaged" the exhaust can on my old F3 and it would shoot flames when backing off the throttle. I got a new can and that stopped. Maybe your slip-on is not fully sealed???bambooi said:
Yes you guys are probably right. The thing is a guy with a 99 dyno'd his with full exhaust, jet kit, and various other parts only put down 105. They said it was all a great day to dyno. Also my bike shoots flames sometimes when I get on and off the throttle abruptly? Could this mean it is rich? There is no jet kit and all it has is a pipe. You can only see the flames when it is dark outside.
