F4i: bike is dead

I took off the front end to replace the stock signals with some LP short stalks. By mistake I reversed the running light and ground connections and it would not work correctly. When I reconnected the signals properly I tested them and everything worked, I was also able to crank the engine.

Now, when I turn the kill switch ON the FI light is not coming on, it does not even blink. I also cannot hear the fuel pump activating :( What could be wrong? I checked all the fuses and they are okay.

Any thoughts on this? Thanks!

Just a few ideas:
Run switch off (don't laugh! It happens.)
Blown fuse... There's a main and some others.
Did you move or not reconnect the tip over switch?
Everything go back the way it came?

Try pulling the negative lead off the battery, checking the fuses and then reconnect the lead. See what that does.
Thanks Huey, fixed it. Apparently I had not put the cowl back on so I was holding it upside down with the harness connected trying to start the engine. Did not realize the bank angle sensor is inside the cowl so it was reset in this position. Okay, I feel foolish now :laughing Starts up just fine with the cowl upright. I am happy :D

I never would have thought about that... :eek
ya learn something new every day:D
I was reading about this tip over switch the other day, except on Gixxers, and the problems they were having with them in racing.

Said they'd kill the bike on the track after a hard headshake from a tire slid that hooked back up, and cause the guys to wreck into each other and shit. The magazine was recommending you fill yours full of silicone so it couldn't move.

How many bikes have these switches?
