Dump the OEM junk for a CruzTools metric kit...

an extra Mini-ViceGrip. It's a wrench... It's a lever... It's a brake pedal... It's a shifter... It's a footpeg... It's amazing!!!! Just be sure to wire it to the bike so you don't have to waste time backtracking to pick it up again.

Mini spray bottle filled with glass cleaner.

Progressive Suspension flat kit. I prefer the one that uses standard CO2 cartridges, since they're readiily available.

I also carry a large~ish first aid kit out of habit formed when I used to do a lot of group rides.

And having a small tank bag for odds and ends definitely rocks. Especially if you own a bike with an undertail exhaust, since you have little or no trunk. Chase Harper make one about the size of a book which is perfect for general usage....

Oven cleaner is not a solvent, but a strong base (alkaline) that works on fats, oils, and cleans metals. Its just a very strong soap. Does not react or harm paint or plastics.
I beg to differ, don't let it touch your paint!

yea hatch your font color does suck

i've never really thought listening to music to be more dangerous, maybe my helmet is just unusually noisy but i never really rely on sounds when riding and generally wear ear plugs

Must be your cheap a$$ POS monitor. :nanana

Actually, it shows up clearer than white on every monitor/laptop I've ever used, including the bottom of the line navy monitors.

Maybe you're color blind?

Interesting....

Hatch I get a lot of complaints when I use my normal blue colour... Yours is easily readable to me,, but who knows lol. This is why all forums should always use a white background. Then all colours (cept white) show.

Frog Toggs

Earplugs

Garmin GPS V & RAM mounting system - I will never take another extended trip without one.

Autocom

Chatterbox
MP3 Player
Escort 8500
H.A.R.D. helmet mounted system

Those last two have saved my butt on more than one occasion-I thank them and my insurance premiums really thank them
