Many of you know that my wife and I are building an "apartment" of sorts here at my parents place. If you know me personally or plan on attending any of my invites (pretty much anyone from this board is welcome to stay if they are in the area) then here are some pics of the work up to this point.

Its awesome. People don't understand how I can like living in a (actually just outside of) a small city like Tell City.

Way I look at it, its relatively quiet (minus the stupid ass murder a couple days ago ) and is covered with nice roads.

Within an hour is three cities ranging from big to very large to find stuff to do.

He's right though, the road up to the house is a nice little twisty.

Once this thing is up you should come stay a weekend. We'll spend a Saturday on the roads just here in the surrounding counties. Hell, had we taken a right instead of a left (into town) it would have been "fun city" for the riding.

Look in picture 3. Just to the left you see the roofline of the house. The big building behind the apartment (Houselette as I've been told to call it LOL) is the garage which is tied into the house.

Oh I definatly will... along with the official invite to everyone on the board. I figure that once we get inside (working on it) it'll take at least all winter. I'm hoping to be done by Feb or March. March 18th is my birthday... would be real nice to get in by then.

BTW, if anyone ever plans to move to this area.... don't unless you have friends. Real estate people and people selling their houses are on crack. $50,000 homes are going for $125,000 easy. $350.00 apartments are going for $600 easy.

Ahh, but I'm talking about pulling out of the driveway. Taking a left. Going to the fork in the road and taking a right. LOTS and LOTS and LOTS of nice twisty road out that way. Just because I've never taken YOU down them does not mean its not there.
