I've ridden it recently......i rode all the way to the car wash with kerry at thanksgiving thank you. :toothy
Alright, I've filled out everything and got my password. I went to pirellidiablo.com and signed in. Now how do I get my coupon?
I dunno, I gave up. Too much effort, I'd rather just pay another $150 for the 2nd tire. I prefer running cashed race take-offs on the street anyway. Makes commuting him in 34 degree rain that much more entertaining.
I found the price of the rear to be WAYYYY to pricey?? Heck by the time I bought the rear and got the FREE front it was gonna cost near $200! I can get a set of BT010's off the net for much less than that!
:confused $126 for the rear local here.

kneedraggers has them listed for $122 same as the bt010

$112+$8 on shipping from Ron Ayers
damn pay attention to detail:rant

I filled out the form and all, then tried to find that damn coupon to send in for a front since I just bought a new tire. Well it isnt available until the 15 of the month.........duh:think
Thats not the price Lance quoted me???? I must have gotten my signals crossed somewhere!
had to go get this out of the trash for you.
Well this is what I have found out. The retail price for the Diablo street rear (180/55) is $199 but dealers vary big time as what they will actually sell it for. MR Cycle Center here in Asheville wants $134 for it, Waynesville Cycle Center will sell it for $160, Harpers Yamaha wants $124.99. Its certainly worth your time to call around. None of the dealers had heard about this promotion by the way.

Of course they haven't "heard" about it. They're going to miss out on selling and you a $120 tire. :shrug
Don't forget there is a 20 dollar shipping fee for the front. So, although it's not really free it's damn cheap for a nice front for 20 bones. :thumb

I think I'll have to get my family members to go buy tires as well. :D
you can get the rear for 111.00 at www.discountmotorcycletires.com

I looked on Pirelli's website and they say you get a "free" 120/70 ZR17 front tire - My ZX6R runs a 120/60 ZR17 I wonder if they'll ship me MY size if I request it? :confused
Doesn't the 11 run a 120/70 though?

Go ahead and put that 70 series front on the 6r :thumb. My R6 came with 60 series and after a few sets, I finally changed to a 70 series and have never looked back. And if you plan to take the 6r to the track, DEFINITELY go with the 70 series ;).
Yes, the ZX11 DOES run a 120/70, but I don't want Pirellis' on it.

Thanks for the advice Johnny T - I will switch up to the 70 on the front - I guess its a moot point worrying if it will fit the rim, right?
