Hi guys, Just thought I'd remind you all again how lucky we all are to live in Charlotte. I'm stuck at the Detroit airport now with a flight delay. I spent the last 3 days here and have to say I'd kill myself if I had to live here. Friggin straight ass torn up roads. FREEZING weather, snow like crazy, and the only good thing was I was able to drive 100mph in heavy traffic while there was a blizzard of snow going on, all the while getting passed on both sides by other traffic (there's just something cool about that)
I did get to go over to Canada and loose some money at the Casino and had me a nice Cuban Cigar in front of casino police, and I did fulfill an urge I had to drive down 8-mile road in the seedy section of town.. though it seemed no worse than North Tryon for the most part.
now my flight is over an hour late in arriving and I wanna get the hell out of here. Thank god for wireless internet and a long life battery for the laptop so I can do some post whoring though.

Hey, those are my old stumping grounds!!!! I lived in Windsor Ont. Canada (thats right across the river from Detroit) for 16 years. I totally agree with you on Detroit, It's really bad, you have pot holes that can swallow a whole car:laughing. My brother works up there at Casino Windsor, that place ALWAYS takes my money....:mad.
Those people up there know how to drive, I miss that....EVERYONE is speeding and hauling-ass, down here you have the slow drivers hangout in the fast lane with there blinker on from when they left there driveway....:laughing

Ah, 1:30am and I'm finally home. I was at the airport at 3:00pm and it was a direct flight so it was a long wait... Good thing my flight home was in the Northwest terminal cause I flew into the USAir terminal on the way up and that place was a shithole. The northwest terminal is damn nice.
I didn't really do much more than drive to Windsor and gamble, but I gotta say, women boarder patrol workers are friggin bitchy. I pulled up and got yelled at for not stopping at a stop sign properly that I could barely see in a crowd of traffic, then got the 5th degree about why I was there... "I'm bored" wasn't quite the answer they'd accept. Then they asked if I was "exploring" then why did I have my birth certificate with me. I litterally read it online to bring it if there was a chance I'd go there... So I did, and this bitch was about to strip search me because she didn't believe me. For all it was worth to play with that silly looking funny money they use in Canada, I should have just gone to one of the Detroit casino's.
