I second Bill's comments.

I'm probably good to go. Have neices and nephews visiting as of Saturday - but 2 solid days and nights of quality time is probably enough.

I assume you guys are meeting at the 15/55 Sheetz?

I rode with Deryck today and we discussed a route. (Yes, it was cold today)

Suggestion: Meet at Sheetz at 9 am; nice back road ride to Sperryville; rt 211 to Skyline Drive south; stop at Skyland or Big Meadows for lunch or a snack; continue south to 33; east on 33 to back roads for the ride home. We should be back by 5 pm.

Just a note: It is going to be cool on Monday when we start at 9am at the Haymarket Sheetz at rts 55 and 15. It will be 10 degrees cooler on the mountain and it will be windy in the open areas...dress accordingly. Instead of meeting by the gas price sign, I suggest we meet close to the building behind the pumps.

I think we need to stick to the time as it will probably be a long ride time wise. It should be the same temperature on the mtn as when we leave Haymarket, but by afternoon it will warm up some. The wind is suppose to be brisk and cool so I don't think the sun will warm things up much. We can stop to get a warm drink at several places but just dress more warmly. After all it is fall :D

I hope to see you there Tyler!

We are meeting at the Sheetz in Haymarket at 9am. The Sheetz is just south of the exit off I-66 for rt 15 (exit 40). Go left at the end of the off ramp (rt 15 south), then left at the traffic light (rt 55 east) and right into Sheetz.
