How do I get to the Javits Center

Does anyone know the best way to get to the Javits Center by train? I will be taking NJ Transit into Penn Station and hopefully I could catch a subway that lets me out near the center.

From Penn Station you just walk to the Javits Center. The A, C, and E train stop at 34th Street and 8th Ave, just like the Penn Station train does. The Javits Center is on 34th between 11th and 12th Ave. So you just need to walk west about 3 1/2 blocks. You can see a good map here.

Where you see Madison Square Garden is where all the trains stop. And I believe all the trains exits are on the North-West corner of MSG.

And if I'm not mistaken, Gray's Papaya is only a block or two north of 34th Street.

Update.

I forgot that the NJ Path exits are 1 block further south-east. You'll be on the south east side of MSG I believe on 33 St. and 7th Ave. So you'll need to walk an extra block west and north, and pass MSG. Once your on 34th Street, just walk west and you'll get to the Javits Center. You can just walk west on 33rd as the Javits center will be very hard to miss.

If you could possibly go into Hoboken Terminal instead of Penn (I don't know where you're coming from), you can take a ferry that leaves you right at the Javitts Center.

Yea, if you take the ferry from weehawken, I believe that drops u off right above the javitts center. Or if you take NJ, you can either take a cab or hoof it to 11th & 12th avenue. I plan on getting into penn station around 11:30ish on Friday morning to meet up w/ the loudmouths from the ny group =D we're meeting inside @ Charley O's
