I love my R1,
But my wife cant ride on it.
Illove my R1 but, cant legaly use it to it potential on the street.
I love my R1 but, I am tempted every time im on it to fly.
A V-MAX may invoke the same temptations but is more practical.
DO ANY OF YOU THINK THAT THE 20th ANIVERSARY V-MAX WILL HAVE A MONOSHOCK SET UP LIKE THE NEW 1300 SHAFT DRIVE FJR???????????

I have a V-Max for just the reasons you state, plus it's fun as hell. I just could'nt get rid of my R1, it's here for life. If history says anything I doubt the 20th anniversary will be much different.

Thanks Bro,
But I hope you are wrong on the 20th thing.
We are the same age you and I, Life is short man, I was just 18!
In your line of work after seeing all that you see, you must know JESUS to keep sain or is that sane?
If not your gonna go nuts.
I love riding, and thank GOD everytime that I do that I am able. We are so fragile & breakable, and riding just opens up more vunerabilities.
I bet you have seen a few motorcycle crashes in your line of work.

Yeah there have been more than a few crashes I've responded to. You just have to take the bad with the good.
And I hope I'm wrong about the 20th too. It would be good to see a revamped V-Max as long as it didn't lose it's appeal.
