As previously stated, it is this Thompson.......with a starting bid of $15,000. I can think of a whole lot of things to spend $15,000 on......but it would be nice to have.

I don't doubt for one second that the gun runs .45ACP...it's just that the round doesn't look like a .45.

I used to manage at a shop that sold the "modern" Thompsons, of course they were only semi-auto. All I remeber about them was that there were heavier than hell. Load up that drum magazine full and it weighs a ton. Would be fun to have but tough to take out shootin' without a proper license which ain't easy to get. For that cash I could think of a lot more "fun" guns that I would like, the Barrett .50 comes to mind, when you really want to reach out and touch something. :badass :rapidfire
