The whole year??? Sheesh.JayMan said:I just saw that starting January 1st. They are gonna lose all their color for 2004! Well don't that suck.![]()
Yes, and that drives me crazy! :rant No reason for a "promotion M&M" to taste funny. You are not the only one. Same can be said with the Halloween ones, the Christmas ones, and those funky like all the colors mixed on one M&M one, remember that goofy looking bag promotion?lanispet said:
i wonder if they'll taste the same. Does anybody else find that the red, blue, and some of the funny-color M&M's (like the Easter pastel ones) don't taste as good as the regular ones? :mad

Haven't had time to look, but seems to me a whole year is a bit bland.

There is a slight differece in taste. I think this is due to the food color in the candy shell. I have found it difficult to find dyes, esp red, that do not add taste to candy. Most reds I have used have a slight bitter taste so it is hard to color something a deep red without adding a lot of dye. The "special" mixes and colors might be made in different batches and production lines than the regular which might account for taste variance.lanispet said:i wonder if they'll taste the same.
