Excellent! Everything I've been reading indicates that Kawi have finally gotten it right. :thumb

Will be interesting to see what they say about the new R1...in my book, it has the looks department down cold!

Me thinks Kawi will get shafted again by the R1... Just like what happened in '98.

Sucks for Kawi, I would like to see them get the top spot for at least a year, but I really think the R1 will be up there.

Everyone's saying..wait till they ride the R1...it looks pretty awesome, but I've sat on the new R1 and its obviously nowhere near as small feeling as the ZX10. I've NEVER seen a liter bike this small and with all that power to boot! Performance wise Its going to be pretty close I think. Even though the R1 is a stunner in the looks department, I still like the ZX10 a little better.

I was inquiring about the ZX10 from a guy who rode one at the press launch he noted that the ZX10 is a blast on the track but is going to be tough to ride on the street unless you are a very level headed, experienced rider. The minute you lose a little respect for this bike, its gonna hurt you, moreso than most bikes out. (of course all the new literbikes are going to be beasts)So, just dont lose that respect
