I bought a Micron slip on for my 02 R6 on e-bay. It said that it came with EVERYTHING!

Ok, finally got this today after waiting for a week.

I opened the box and these are what was in it...

Can anyone guess what is missing? And why I can't install it on my bike? Fark! I'm so bummed out. I want it so bad on my bike today.

Anyone know what part # and where I can get it?

Contact Rezin and see if he can hook ya up with one as TT sells micron stuff....

Main reason I won't deal with the assholes on Ebay anymore...too much fraud and Ebay seems to protect those people more than the honest buyers and sellers.

Go to there site, and get Microns contact info. Call them up and get a price for just the mid-pipe. You can get just about anything factory direct. Hell why not even spring for the highmount mid-pipe.

I did contact Micron and they want $150 just for the connecting pipe. Shawn from TT said that he can get it for $135.
Contemplating my options right now.

The highmount is nice but I don't want it to cover my turnsignals.
Just my preference.

Not sure which bike you have but I'm pretty sure the Micron Highmount with the R6 you retain your stock footpegs.

Yes, you do, but you need to use this gay-ass rear cowl modifier that lowers the blinkers...

I just removed the cowl and got some LP flushmounts...looks 100% better IMHO.

I did the same with the competition werkes tail kit and lockhart flush mounts. Looks so much smoother.

I have a brand new Micron mid pipe but it is for an R1. I don't know if it will fit yours (if you could find out) let me know and I will give you a good deal. (if you are interested and it will fit)

It would be worth checking out, just watch the quality of the material they use ...you don't want to end up with a rusted out pipe....

We'll, I went to a well known muffler shop last Wednesday and I talked to them on what I wanted done. The guy said hmmm, bring the muffler in on Friday and we can take a look. Brought the muffler to them and they say "Hmmm, sure we can do it but the next open time that I can do it next week and we will need the bike all day".

Long story short I didn't want to mess with it. I broke down and ordered the part from Shawn at TT. He is suppose to call me any time soon for the tracking number.

Another waiting game.

Finally got it installed

I've been a bit busy or I would have posted sooner.
I got the connecting pipe from Shawn at TT last week.
Installed it last Thursday and been lovin it ever since.

How's it look to you guys/gals?

Pipe is kinda loud for me but I like it (I'll do a sound clip one of these days). On low RPMs there's a noticeable pop pop pop. 6k and up it is fine. I might need to rejet.

Dude it looks great I glad I was able to help you, the poping to the best of my knowlage is the eng. getting a bit lean on deceleration no biggie for now
