Well I got this idea for my new tat, I've been thinking about this one for a while but I lack the artistic skills to draw it myself. I've been searching over the net looking for images but can't find jack.
The idea is too have a battle of two angels, one good one bad, I want alot of detail in this one, I want the angels to look strong with broad shoulders and narrow faces, not one of those pudgy ass angels with the big baby faces.
But if anyone knows where I can find a pic like this that would be awesome, I'm not looking for the exact pic, just something to show the artist so he can draw something up.
Here is my drawing, it's not super detailed but I did my best.

Actually that helps alot, it captures the facial features and body I'm looking for.

Most of these angelic images occurred around "medieval times" so that is the period I would recommend. Man I still wish I had my college philosophy of art book, they had some of these cool pics in it. But yeah, this will get you started, but I will keep looking. There are lots of cool images with even better features than that. So many of the artists did these like with an "apocalyptic" kinda theme so there are some good works out there.

Arrrgh. I know of some really good ones but can't find those particular pics with a cursory web search.

The ones I'm thinking of are out of comic book called "Dawn: Lucifer's Halo" by Joseph Michael Linsner. I don't really care for comic books as a whole, but this one is seriously cool and it has some great angel pictures and some terrific lines ("Laugh and the world laughs with you...cry and the world laughs at you...").

While this is not exactly what you're looking for, it's an example of the guy's art. Most of his art that you'll find on the web is heavy on the female stuff (not that I have a problem with that!).
