Last year at Barber, there was a fella pitted next to me that was riding a Honda NSR250. While I was admiring the bike, I looked in his trailer and also spied a mint RC45!!!! Dude said he had just come back from Texas picking it up. MUST BE NICE! He was an older fella, and his trailer has "Old Fart racing" on it I believe. Real nice guy to talk to. If I would have had a camera, I would have been taking some pics! :thumb
Actually, I see it quite frequently. If I had the coin that bike would be in my garage next to the RC30 and the RC51.

what I wouldn't give to have the RC45 and a R7
Oh man thats extremely nice. Anyone know if they make a similar tail for my bike?
Not quite an RC45 , but you can get one of the RVF tails that TBR/Erion/Mike Velasco used on their 900RR's in the mid-90's from Airtech or Sharkskinz : looks pretty nifty IMO .

RC45's are the heat . Visually , the RC30 does it for me just a little bit more , but there's nothing new being built right now that I'd rather have than either .

Could you point me in the direction for more info on this? I'm basically just trying to get the solo seat look out of it, without having to change the seat to a foam pad. Thanks again for your help guys :thumb
Thanks Ian. Thats pretty much what I'm looking for. is the subframe on the 98's the same as my 93? Sharkskins seems to list mine separately than the newer ones. If not I suppose this will work....a little flatter than the one you pictured

Sorry if I seemed to hijack this thread, its just the shape of the RC30/45's is so lovely.

yeah, Ive got a 51, and though it does share the heritage of the RC line, after seeing those it seems kind of like looking at a 67 mustang fastback, and then looking at one of the Mustang II's from the seventies.

Still, for the price of the 51, I am perfectly happy. like this>>> :biggrin
This is what I was meaning - I really thought somebody made a version that used the stock seat though - maybe TBR used to when they sold Beasley bodywork or something :confused Anyway : http://www.airtech-streamlining.com/hondaz/he9.htm and same stuff from Sharkskinz : http://www.sharkskinz.com/hondacbr900erion.htm
hmm.....funny all those bikes are in houston.....i see them all over....:D

The one I pictured uses the stock seat.
