so the dude got stabbed in the foot by random road junk? :confused
Sad thing is that if that happened here in Austin, APD would have ticketed them for parking on the sidewalk :laughing
:eek how fast were they going?? and talk about perfect aim :eek
:eek :eek :eek
:( :( :(

dam that looks painful glad he came out alright for the most part...that had to suck
That's some crazy stuff

Austin VFR - Isn't that the truth, APD would have issued a ticket for polluting the environment too with all the bleeding
As bad as that was, it could have been so much worse.
All that blood on that one pic. :(
:eek

I smell a lawsuit!
Who would you sue. :confused

Yep OR nothing bad could have happened at all. ;)

That reminds me of the time my brand new Explorer was hit by a flying piece of rebar on the way to work one day. The rebar hit the front edge of the hood, flipped up and spun across the hood and just past the driver's side window. Scraped the crap out of the hood of my brand new truck. Everyone kept saying "Man, that could have gone straight through your windshield." Or, "Man, you're lucky that didn't go right through the radiator and into the engine."

All I could think was "Yeah, it also could have missed my friggin' truck entirely." :rolleyes

That sucks about the dudes foot though - his foot is definately going to be hurtin' for a while. Actually there's a good chance he has a few cracked bones in his foot. Ouch! Good job staying composed though.

no shit, imagine having to downshift with something through your foot
Strap the Gixxer motor to the wheelchair:cruisin I'd be crusin' like a mo-fo. Nah but that's sucks bigtime.

I wouldn't sue anyone. But if they went over a metal plate that was on the road for construction or something and a piece of that is what went through his foot, it's possible he could sue someone (the city planners or the construction guys?) over it I guess. IDK, it just seems like these days everyone tries to sue, I figured this would be no exception.

And herein lies the problem with this country. :(

Did that happen on I35 in the fast lane going north a while back?

Why? Did that fall off your Harley? :nanana

BTW, did you ever get another bike?

No, it happened in Houston. There's tons of crap on the freeways around Houston.

But I-35 is just a bad. I stay as far away as possible from I-35. I-35 through Austin is without a doubt the most dangerous highway I've ever travelled. I won't let my wife drive on it AT ALL.
