Portland Blizzard Delays SuperMoto Season Opener.
A 25 year storm has clobbered Northern Oregon and the surrounding areas. Blizzard conditions forced State Troopers to close portions of Interstate 5, New Years eve, and more snow fall is expected through the New Year week end.
The storm has forced the re-scheduling of the 2004 SuperMoto USA Holiday Classic.
"We got hit hard and fast", said Chris Eggar, President of PARC. "The track is not too bad, but getting to it is a chain up afair", Eggar continued, "The Rainman needs to do a Sun Dance".
The 2004 SuperMoto USA Holiday Classic has been re-sheduled for the week end of Jan 31/Feb 1. Saturday practice and Slide Rules SuperMoto School, and Racing on Sunday with a full class structure, Pro Purse and lots of prizes.
