i was wondering if there was any way to raise a 2004 suzuki jr80 without buying taller seat foam., or new shocks. I know that you can buy new shock eyes for the crf50's, but i cant find any for the jr80.

any ideas?

As far as I can tell, there are no aftermarket parts available for the JR80 or it's previous incarnation, the DS80.

My son rides one and there's not much you can do to the suspension except jack the rear shock preload all the way up. He's outgrowing it now and we're looking to get him an RM85 motocross bike so he can actually jump safely.

Jacking up the preload all the way to make the bike taller sounds like a really bad idea to me :shake

Lots of bad side effects IMO

No, I wouldn't recommend it either, I just meant that's the only adjustment there IS on the suspension, and that if it's sagging due to rider weight, it can be jacked up.

Too much rear preload can take you to headshake city real quick.
