Good For Aprilia
I think it's good for Aprilia. The Starboyz using one, along with the Mille in the new movie Torque, should help sales as well as resale value. I think Aprilia needs a little market boost. Too many Mille's sitting around showrooms. Heck, you can still buy 2002's off the showroom floor, just have them clean all the dust off first. Maybe they can get some more dealerships, and get a larger parts supply instead of backordering everything from Mother Italy for 3 months.
Does this mean more stunters are going to be buying Mille's? I'm sure they will. The old saying :"Race on Sunday, sell on Monday" comes to mind, just change out Race for Stunt. They're not that much more expensive than a GSXR/R1/CBR1000. And with sales being so slow, you can get the leftover 2003's for cheap, especially with the 2004's coming out. And people are selling off their old Mille's to grab an 04, also for cheap.
Should make a good wheelie bike since it's dry sump. Not that I would know. HA!
