Any suggestions on how to remove the front brake lever on an F4i? do i have to undo the throttle cables first to get to the bolt?

No, you dont have to undo the throttle cables to get to it. The easiest way is to get a small straight edge screwdriver to hold the screw with. Then get a socket and unscrew the nut on the bottom with.

I think its a 6mm nut on the bottom of the screw. After its loose, remove the screw and pull the lever off.

thanks for the reply B
taking the 10mm nut off was simple didnt even need a screwdriver to do it. but putting it on i budged the throttle adjuster up a bit to get a regular size driver in there and then tightened the nut. I wanted to make sure i had enough leverage so i dont scratch or fook up anything. Was simpler thatn i thought it would be.
