i'm too lazy to answer all the questions so I'll just say this. It was about 60 here today and went on the annual ride from the Harley/Yamaha shop here. There was me, a guy on a 954 and about 100 harleys. there were SO many people it was a pretty good ride. The harley guys were cool as hell too they were lovin me doing wheelies and shit. It was non stop going down the highway them pulling up next to me and telling me to do wheelies :laughing :laughing Fastest I went today was about 150 indicated, and one of the harleys ran about 130 with me and the 954 for a bit.

Oh, and I didn't have to do anything to my bike it was ready to ride because I ride it all year. I'm not a fair weather rider :redflip

EDIT: I seen one cop and he already had someone pulled over. I can't believe how nice it was today and it is supposed to be 65 tomorrow. That is ridiculous for this time of the year, but after tomorrow it's going to go back to normal winter (daytime highs in the 30's :()
I remember looking for Sedalia on the map. Think I'm going to have to head out that way sometime! :) I know about being surrounded by fair weather riders which is why I was out alone. I was surprised when I saw an R1 and a Busa out. Supposed to be up to 68 tomorrow but I don't know if I want to face the 40degree ride to work in the morning.

i'm off tomorrow so me and another guy from here in town are gonna head to Kansas City. There's not too many bikes around here (well there are a lotbut they ride like 500 miles a year :rolleyes) so you never see them.

btw, where the hell have you been? I didn't realize who posted this until just now. damn..........:redflip

c'mon people. I know there are more than 2-3 people that rode today. If not, you all should be ashamed of yourselves. :nanana

I've put about 1500 miles on my R1 since I got it in November. We've had a lot of nice days recently (nice as in 40's and 50's).
I WISH! :shrug :rant
Where are my peeps at?

Wait 'til spring, Peeps will be back in stores for sure. :redflip

Time & weather conditions at start of ride:

29 degrees, cloudy with a light breeze

Time & weather conditions at end of ride:

Same, just darker

Total distance ridden:

68 miles

Top speed of the day:

85 or so

Was your bike ready or what problems did you have to fix first:

My bike is ready year-round.

Any problems/accidents during your ride:

None

How many people did you ride with:

3 people: me, myself and I

How many bikes did you see during your ride:

One---an old guy on an even older Harley, with an open face-helmet and ski jacket, clearly enjoying himself. We waved at each other like a bunch of loonies that twe were.

Did you need snow chains:

No, studded tires are much more predictable. ;)

How many times did your ass suck the vinyl off the seat as your bike tried to slide out from under you:

Just once. Friggin' snow plaws don't like to cross the bridges to get out to my island. :rant

How many police officers did you see:

Two, but I saw them twice. On the way out, they had pulled some gy over, and on the way back, they were towing his car away.

Too damn busy :( My truck got stranded at my office, and i had to ferry parts out to it in the Wife's car and fix it.

On the plus side, i rode on the last day of 2003 and the first work day (today) of 2004... gotta count for something :nanana i even saw another bike on the way in today, i guess because it wasn't cold enough for there to be frost on the cars this morning.
