On my ride home the next morning, my avon Av46 gets another nail. I may as well start buying take-offs :mad

I assume you ride in the left or right side of lanes? I would expect you to pick up more nails if you ride in the middle of the lane. I've never picked up a nail, knock on wood.

The irony is that I chose to ride down 620 instead of Mcneil, since the chevron half way down has free air :eek:

I have said it before you CAN do something to NOT get nails in the rear tire

The likelyhood that you will get a nail is directly proportional to the amount of tread left on your tires.

I tried that for a while with some foam thingy, and then it ripped off. I need a better means of keeping something on there.:(
