Seems a lot of people do the online dating thing now, at least you could better find someone with some common intrests.

i find em at school, they are all over the place, about 4 decient ones per class

take a class at a j/c garranteed girls (yes there will be some girls your age) try a language class like german... ooooo hotties!!!!

Why not? Isn't that what you're supposed to do?

Try to read the signals, if it seems there may exist a potential interest (multiple counts of eye contact, subtle gestures like grabbing her own breasts or tossing her wedding ring ), then approach the would-be Mrs. Javawhz. Give her your name and perhaps a subtle compliment then offer to meet for a cup of coffee or perhaps lunch. What's the worst that could happen? She could say no? Be that the case then you are no worse off then when you started.

Try barnes and noble or some other book stores. Try a class like mentioned above. I knew a guy that signed up for those new age classes in order to meet women. For example he signed up for "how to organize your purse". He went in with a book bag full of misc materials and was the only guy in the class. Needless-to-say, he landed some digits.

Ask whatever woman you want out, wherever.

Gas station? Sure!
Grocery Store? Sure!
Bank? Sure!

Asking girls out in places where they don't expect it raises your chances too. They're not in "Auto-deny" mode like they are when they're usually at bars, etal.

See a woman in public you find attractive? Ask her out. If she's not single, she'll tell you. If you can't ask someone you don't know out, you need to learn to.

I actually have tried eHarmony before. It was pretty cool, I got a month free so thats why I tried it. I got a whole bunch of matches and one I really hit it off with, we talked on the phone for hours. But then when we met I wasnt attracted to her at all phyisically (typical guy, huh?). Its a good system though

Here's the good thing about eHarmony: you meet people that are ready to get into a realtionship, and they only match you up with people that you are compatible with. We're talking like 10 out of 1,000,000 people here. :eek

My brother is trying it, and the girls that they matched him with are so much like him it's scary. :clap

And Java, I can empathize completely! Woman have the same challenges meeting men, believe it or not. You definately do have to be willing to just walk up to a stranger and say hi...no matter where you are and hope he's not in a relationship, gay, or a stalker.

It's a lot easier said than done though, even by someone as outgoing as I. I agree with those who say try and meet people in book stores, coffee shops, the gym, or any sort of place that you would normally hang out so that you have something in common.

Try Kiss.com, it has a Instant Messenger feature and I did quite well on there. One of the women I met on there bought me TWO bikes. Got laid by 14 of the 16 women I met on there.

I met Yvette online, but it was off of the Yahoo personals when it was free. My gas station is a great place for me to meet women since so many come by and I just strike up conversations with them.
