You can still fuck around on cf even when you're sitting on a bike with a dead battery in downrown san fran while waiting for the aaa guy to come.

Oh, have I mentioned that I hate that the parking light on aprilias is too easy to leave on because of its key position? I didn't?

Well I do. :laughing

How about pushing it, hop on and jump start? Anyone try this with their bike?

All Zuke's are like that to my knowledge. I can't tell you how many times I've pushed started a gixxer. Go figure, ride to work half asleep at 4 am, sometimes these things are going to happen.

The aprilia slipper clutch makes push-starting a no-go.

I like to use my phone to terrorize my co-workers with anonymous e-mails (they don't know who it is) when I'm dropping the kids off at the pool. :clap

Did that with my girl's bike a couple of months ago. There was a period for a month where she didn't ride and the battery was too weak to start. Tried repeatedly for 5-6 minutes to push start it myself but no go (damn flat South Florida streets). Our neighbors across the way were leaving and they saw me and offered to help. I rode while they both pushed me and 5 seconds later it sputtered to life.

Bought a Battery Tender + after that experience. :thumb

You'll need a hill and a pusher to roll start an Aprilia IMO. Be sure you sit on the passenger seat and push down or the rear wheel will just slide...

Pfft, I push start my TZ125 every time I use it.

OK, so maybe it's not quite the same... ;)

I've left the parking light on twice now, once on my Kat and once on my Tiller. It IS easy to do, but now I make it a point to take a quick glance back when I turn the key off to make sure I didn't turn it too far. And yeeeaaah, bump starting a TLR... THAT'S a guaranteed way to not only not starting it but having to pick it up off the ground after you drop it. :laughing

Oh, and I thought the best thing about having the internet on your phone was mobile porn? :confused
