I have been thinking about doing that to my bike...If I do im going to keep side markers and add the ones in headlight for added visibility. Like this one

The guys at east hanover yamaha told me he does some work on bikes. I've been there once to buy a remote starter for a car. The dude Eggie was pretty cool and he is the owner I think. Go talk to him see what he says. There's also Washington Cycle works, give Ron a call also.

Well on the 02 R1 its pretty simple. (If U R not using the side markers as well) Just take the wires and splice them into the little lights already in the headlight assembley. If U R installin from scratch.......GOT ME!!!!! haha Anything more than a simple splice and I am out. I would pay the 64hr it is here in CO to get it done. Then I know I wont have anything shorting out on me.
