yup I'm going to Vegas... for the first time. :woot

so... if you have any insights on where to stay, what to see and do... other than the obvious of course... post it up! :D

I think I have to choose my hotel among these:
Paris, Treasure Island, Luxor or New York

thanks in advance!! :giddy

Stayin at the hotels in the middle of strip is recommended. That way you're in walking distance to other hotels and etc. Also when you see bunch of people on the sidewalk clapping their hands and handing out flyers/phamplet. Take those, those are info on hot spots, VIPs and etc. ;)

I had a Vegas thread last month sometime where a bunch of people told me what to do, what to see etc. I will be staying at Treasure Island in March. I will try and find that thread.

dont stay at T.I. if you can avoid it,the room was crap ,we found gross stuff layin around, and i paid for the room 3 weeks prior to goin down and for some reason on the second day there they charged 160.00 to my card and it took untill last week for them to finnaly put it back and cover the over drafts they charged, other than that vegas is the best place on earth ,i've been 16-17 times in the last three years and it never gets old and there's always somthing new and fun to do or see:clap

out of the choices you named i'd go with Paris. It's the most central(LV blvd & Flamingo st) and the casino/hotel rooms there are pretty nice. although i've been to LV a buncha times I still prefer that hotel for locale, price and quality. If you have the budget though you should defintely check out Bellagio, Mandalay or the new Wynn.
