What if I moved the Grandstands?

So I notice that even our cruiser riding bretheren post in the GS more that in their respective (Roadhouse) Forum. that's due to the traffic I am sure!

So, since this has become the "catch all" forum, do you think it would better suit the forum, it the GS and it's sub forums was move OUT of the sportbikes section, and into a more general section where more riders (Of all types) can join in the fun and cameraderie.....

Looking for some opinions and comments on this move......

I've always thought more people would participate if there was one open forum for everybody. Yes, I know there is the lobby but nothing happens in there.

That's why outsiders like me jump in here.

I am new, so my opinion probly aint to valid. but putting it out where it is more accessable will allow for more opinions on some of these topics. but by leaving it you may draw more people to the sport bike side of motorcycles.

hehehe. Originally thats what the lobby was for..

S'ok tho. I can bulk move the GS to it's own area... It would fall between the Lobby area, and the Communities area.. Easy to get to, etc....

Move it Rez....

heck we do not NEED to draw peeps to the sportbike side...that already happens on its own.

Besides as has been stated the GS is really a catch-all, BS forum....no need to have it solely for the SB guys!

I know we have a few cruiser peeps, but not enough to keep all the topics moving like the GS, so they come here. But many won't look in the SB section, so we can be missing good info form them...

Exposure is good for the site.. therefore moving it shouldnt be an issue.

Why not leave it where it is, and "cross link" it in the other sections? Put it in the cruiser, pocketbike, etc sections...

Can't create forums as links..... Thy'd have to be their own forums, hence the differnet forums from the get-go.. Otherwise I would cross link them... :shrug

i say move it. the lobby gets no traffic really and i don't think there's enough traffic on the other sections to maintain the "level" of chatter here in grandstands. :laughing
