What to look for when buying a stunt bike?

I go to a lot of auctions with my stepdad, and I see a lot of wrecked bikes, thats how I got my first bike, but I am curious.

What do you look for in a stunt bike? My plan was to buy em and fix em to ride, but I saw in a previous thread, no need to fix a stunt bike.

So what should I look for? The next bike Im looking to purchase is something in the 600 class. So at these auctions, what should I look for when browsing thru these bikes?

Bodywork isn't real important if you are buying a bike to stunt in the lots. Just make sure it is mechanically sound, or at least something that is easily fixxed. If you can, find something that is fuel injected, works better at 12 o'clock.

fuel injected, carbs suck look for something that can be driven but doesnt look that good. body work is what makes a bike look good if i took most of the stunt bike out there took the stunt parts off and put new body work on. you wouldnt even know they have been stunted.

Ok, Ed, let me rephrase that. Body work isn't that important when learning! Yeah, it looks better later on when you are good and are performing in front of a big crowd with a trick ass paint scheme.

For me, it's no bodywork!:laughing
