What was the best decision you've ever made, and how did it effect you?

Mine was having children. I always swore I wouldnt. Man, would I have missed alot. It's incredible to see your life start all over again. I feel like I was reborn, and get to do everything again, for the first time. :)

In the long run I think joining the Navy after high school was the best thing for my life at the time. I was sort of going down a dead end road without a plan and who knows what would have happened. I would recommend military service to anyone who is starting out lost and not going to college right away. Plus it always looks good on the resume.

Mere details my friend...

Details...
I can't be sure I've made it yet.
It might sound trivial for this board, but taking the MSF and getting into motorcycling. it's been the best release from everyday life, and i've met so many great people through motorcycling.
I"m thinking mine would have to be the HARD decision I made to leave FL and my career to move to OK... but before that, was accepting Kevin's proposal.. KNOWING that I would have to leave my family, my job, my security.. I never thought I would leave FL - ever! Had a 6 year career and everything... but all and all, I found my soulmate and he's here to stay. :D
When I changed professions and focus after ten and a half years and found a job I really liked. Now I'm moving forward in a career I'm actually liking which I think is a plus. :D
Giving walking papers to a heartless, self centered, cowardly liar.
Getting saved. :)

Moving thead to CMR forum.... :laughing
Mine was having my children, followed closely by my wife. My son wasn't planned, but my daughter was. My kids are my life, and no amount of love can ever be compared the love you have for your kids. I just scoop my kids up in my arms and am INSTANTLY happy. All my hard work and all my pain is nothing when I do it for my kids. Sometimes they cause you heartache, but everything you love will do that. Being ready for them also makes a difference. I wasn't ready for my son, and it was very hard at first. But we planned our second one, and it just makes having a baby so enjoyable. Now both of my kids mean all the more to me, words just can't express the feelings!
