Are our member #'s listed somewhere, or are you just looking at the forum home page listing you as the newest member with X number of members total? (Making X your member number.)

Was that as confusing as I think it was?

You are #87

Hover over the profile link under one of your posts, and you'll see a url that ends with 'userid=87'. It maybe be off by a few if you are counting non-deleted members if Rob had a couple of test accounts. I.e., you went into the member list and counted from the first one to your name.

userid is an IDENTITY or AUTO INCREMENT field in the database (depending on what db backend they use), and everytime a user in inserted into the users table, the userid field is automatically incremented by one, no matter if the confirmation email worked, or if they ever log in.

Did that help?
