I'll be there with my buddy

Most people are doing it on November 16th, but there is also a trackday on the 17th.

We're doing the free day, then probably sign up for the whole day, assuming their are spots left (if the day is full, then us "free" riders can't stay the whole day :().

I sent my membership application in last week :)

edit: go to www.nesba.com and sign up for the free day if you haven't already

no, you don't have to be a member to do the free day.

I wanted to go ahead and get a membership because I all but know I will stay...and if I can't, i will do some days next year

I look at it this way streak, all of us enjoy riding pretty hard (for us at least) on the public roads. So why wouldn't we enjoy rding hard in a controled environment free of cars, road debris, cliffs, gravels, and countless other distractions.

Besides, my goal is to race in a couple of years, so I gotta start somewhere :D

no problem man...

here are a couple of links:

www.biketweakers.com - pretty good how-to on setting sag, which you should do before you start screwing with the comp and rebound

www.ohlins.com - click motorcycles, then click brochures and manuals. download the owners manual for street and track shock absorbers (I think). It has a run-down of what the shock does if the settins are too sfot or too hard. Gives you an idea of what to look for while riding ;)
